In the recent days the Nintendo Switch had just released a new update call version 4.0.0. This is the latest in the Switch’s firmware update and it is a pretty big one. The most notable updates is the Video capture for select games. Now, where the capture picture button is, if a person holds that button they can record up to 30 seconds of game footage, and then transfer to either twitter or Facebook. I think this is really innovative feature, now instead of just talking about the cool kill you received in Splatoon 2, now a person can just record and save that exact kill. There is one glaring flaw, it doesn’t work with every and all games which could change in the near future. Another big time feature is the ability to transfer user and saved data to any other Nintendo Switch console. This is to mitigate the problems of people wanting to buy a second switch or even for loss prevention or even to change memory cards. It essentially keeps a cloud system for all the things purchased off the Nintendo e-shop and all saved data for all your games. It opens the door for switch owners to purchase newer editions of the console if they are ever released. The update also allows purchasing a game from the e-shop early, so that a person can have the game downloaded early and when it is released it is already on your system. That saves the aching pain of waiting for a game to be downloaded that you have waited to release for months. They also added new icons for the avatars for their profiles. One of the better features that was added was the being able to attach GameCube controllers to the system. What made this better is that was a secret feature that wasn’t even in the patch notes. Which adds more versatility when it comes to playing many different games. For when smash brothers comes out, people will have different options for playing the games. It is also cheaper, when it comes to buying controllers for more players. Controllers for the Nintendo Switch for just one remote is 50 dollars per and for two together is 80. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is 70 dollars for one controller. Whereas the controller adapter is 10 dollars and each controller is 10 dollars each and you save hundreds of dollars on controllers.
